Task: Synchronize HR Master Data between two companies – Hitachi ABB Power Grids (recent acquisition) and Hitachi Group
Some of the challenges:
- Data extraction from SAP Based system
- Data transformation – had to establish and implement complex logic for transformation of all key employee properties such as employment type, worker type, contract type etc.
- Processing response data – accepting validation; accepting & storing parent company issued IDs; propagating those IDs back to SAP based HR system
- Implementation of automated Data Quality monitoring incl. deduplication processes
